Penance "Shocking Stuff" not taking

Penance not updating - got the notification in game, have the steam achievement, but I STILL don’t have the penance unlocked in the game. Have reset the game and have done additional missions to no avail.

Please help :frowning:

Hi! I think there’s a bit of a delay in it being unlocked for you, as you’ve clearly achieved this according to Steam.

Could you try deleting your AppData to rule out a caching issue?:

NOTE: By deleting your AppData, operative loadouts and custom keybindings will be reset. You may wish to make a back-up of the directory in the event deleting your AppData does not work to resolve the issue.

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory

Hi, thanks for the response. I deleted the darktide directory in AppData as requested. After downloading the update this morning and re-doing graphics settings, I am still not able to get that penance.

After my post last night I had my friend hop on and help me try and get it again - I am certain I did the penance multiple more times but it just will not unlock.

If there is anything further I can do, I’d love to try. It’s driving me a bit bonkers having a penance I just can’t seem to finish.

Sorry Figment, the Penance continues to show as incomplete via our backend. I’ll need to raise this with our developers.

Would you be able to set your Steam Achievements on your profile to public, so the team can see your completion status?
