Well this one is huge for evi, good stuff.

Flamer armor damage nerfe

This is a good one also.

Power sword nerf

Lazy done, you could just change atack speed or atack patterns, spamin recharge for weapon is a bit annoying.

I hate these changes - in 40k novels power weapons are activated at the beginning of a fight - having to activate it for every swing is extremely unimmersive.

Gameplay wise bloody power cycler is now almost mandatory. Good thing your stupid RNG hell has prevented me from getting that blessing during 300 hrs of playing + sporadic shop checking…

I no the 30 players that loudly demanded this nerf will propably still cry the PS is to strong but I think you just made one of the most beloved weapons in game a lot less fun to play…

And for the record - I don’t play PS-Vet exclusively. I play all classes and play the vet regularly with chainsword, caxe, knive or shovel as well as the power sword depending on my gun choice.

IF attackspeed was even worse than it is now, you might as well just fall over and die as soon as you fight enemies without having teammates to stagger them for you.

PS was fun, guess next patch BM cAxe gets the hammer. Flamer was fun, now it’s just bad. Did you guys really think it over?

No perk reroll fix. No vote kick fix. Just force players into more RNG grind. I’m done with this game.

ā€œAdjustā€ is not the right word for nerving the hell out of something. Like in so many games they buff and nerf not in little steps and see what happens. ā€œClipsizeā€ and Ammopool just reduced by 25% and less effective… wow, good job.

Just don“t let the flamer combine with the zealots special, then it was ok imo.

i honestly never combined it with the flamer because i saved it for other situations.
I never was seeing someone complaining when i was playing with the flamer and i have easy 100 hours playtime with it on T4 or T5 because it“s just fun. It“s not like you would steal anything from other players by taking pressure off the team by controling a big horde when the crap hits the fan.
Now you have to take more ammo supplies…same with the shotguns small ammo pool

Or what if it actually…deflected?!?
Chance to send blocked shots back at attackers, increasing with level.
Also, veteran players in tears about the power sword nerf despite having a blessing that increases powered swings to 3 - meanwhile psykers are crying tears of joy over finally having a cc sword that needs to be activated with every swing at a peril cost. Lol, you’ll live.

Is it so? Lights are spammable. Well they could revert mobility nerf than. Anyway changin atack pattern is a thing still. They chose a bad way to nerf PS imo.

How about instead of nerfing fun yall fix the bugs on melee and ranged weapons before addressing weapon balance ~_~

you did not use it before because it was too good? is it not controlled by you, how long and how often you use it? like: this car has to much horsepower, i will drive it when it has less? sounds weird.

I really thought there would be some greater reworks since so much time is gone already. But i“m glad flamer / PS got finally nerfed.
Dunno how it looks ingame right now, but reading through it pretty much tells that flamer is perfect in its niche now, while PS needs a bit more attention to play well.

But there is still a maximum-healing limit right?

Sounds a bit too much and cheesy in general. There is already a lot of heal available. That they“re able to tank now through a complete event seems exeggerated.

The reduction of burning damage vs flak makes burning from non flamethrower sources significantly worse. Infernus Lasguns and Psyker Soulblaze feats are much weaker now.

I agree soulblaze should not be affected by this, but the kantrael shotgun was ridiculously good against flak before this patch, 1 dragons breath shot could kill armored ragers and bring maulers down to 1/5 hp on heresy, seems like a logical balance change.

LOL @ all the people who champion these balance changes! Everyone here will soon find out how regrettable all these nerfs are when playing with all the normies who don’t frequent any of the forums, discord servers, or subreddits.

The people who just play the game without ever participating in these communities will start playing in much more annoying and stupid ways now that their favourite toys have been taken away without having been provided any alternatives.

And even more will likely leave.

Just to be clear: I think these nerfs are fine, but I also believe that the game will be a lot less fun now until the next patch (or until the next round of buffs to the rest of the game’s arsenal).

Well good news for you, asked FatsharkCatfish on discord yesterday, she said they’re discussing about the whole locking system and are considering options.

Maybe Wreck and Ruin needs to be buffed on 4 stacks then since it relies on elites. (Even if i doubt someone will take it anyway, since the +X% damage is way too strong now.)

But i donĀ“t see a general need to return it. Ascendent blaze, the other reworked soulblaze-trait combined with forceswords and purgatus are obviously made for waveclear so…

You know the combat axe is my prefered weapon. But, yes, maybe the BM need to be nerfed.
Maybe with something like no mass for the next 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 swings (T1 /T2 / T3 / T4).
At the same time, they need to buff devastating strike… I could even say fix it. They have nerfed it to a point that this blessing is pure garbage.

Nerfing my favorite weapon into trash while not fixing RNG gacha BS is all the reason I needed to finally uninstall and leave my negative review up forever.
