Patch #7

That’s really not the point lol, but it’s great you feel that way!

Was it really necessary to nerf Psykers’ Purgatus staff/soulblaze class feature along with the flamer balance?

Did not notice this… I think that I will take lot of fun with this on my veteran…

Good job complainers getting the only two weapons that felt good in game nerfed.

Yes, it’s rather fortunate for fatshark that Accatrans were already fading to obscurity even before these changes, but still, it’s not a good showing in the slightest. You’re telling me no one raised any eyebrows in the office? And fatshark’s stance has clearly been that accatrans have been in a good state, and still are, for the past 5 months of balance passes. What is there to do, apart from flame these people that get paid to produce something far worse than i would for free? All options prior have been exhausted, and then some. This is just garbage work, there’s no way to sugarcoat it.

No… they did not feel good. They were too good.
Guess what? I will take pleasure to use the PS now. I was thinking it was too powerful.
Now, the nerf seems to balance things.

I disagree, but constant complaining led to my 60+ hours of grinding on improved power swords to be a waste of time. So thanks FS.

oo swing and a miss?

im not sure doing exactly that twice then calling them stupid really encompases the sentiment in that platitude

really shamefull for fixing things in a different order to what you personally would prefer? liitle bit harsh maybe?

Problem isnt the balance for PS
Problem is that you needed to grind that long for A weapon

Interesting changes. But it also saddens me with lack changes:

  • of hostile to player crafting RNG
  • mission selection. We still can use +4 more options on that Mission board.

It’s an interconnected problem, but I think I’m done until they at least remove these idiot locks.

It seems you purposefully missed my point and cherry picked my comment. You really thought you did something there lol. FYI, you’re blocked since i don’t have the time nor intention to humour you, peace.

Crucian roulette needs some love after the last fix.

Also, please provide an indication on if blessing/perk locks are staying.

Yop this itemisation is objective ass and it makes the game worse.
I would really like to know what is going on around in the office, who and why is defending it

As they say, action in inaction. I think their stance is firm.

This could be worded a bit more clearly, but this only applies to the weapons with “sticky special”.
So this is technically a buff/fix for the weapons with specials that make you stick to a target.

It does not apply to the Illisi force sword as well as the Powersword, since these weapons need the cleave and work differently than the other “activated special” melee weapons.

The ingame description of the blessing does not mention that the effect stacks.
This should be updated.
Same thing with “Deathsplitter” blessing. It stacks 5x but the description does not tell.

This seems a little harsh.
Maybe set it to 2 swings as base (the weapon was able to do 3 swings before; intended or not)? Considering the bad defensive capabilities of the weapon, nerfing it to 1 empowered swing seems like overkill.

Power Cycler is now basically required and due to the itemization system we have right now, it is near impossible to get.

Nerfing the Zealot flamer was absolutely justified, but why nerf weapon Blessings and the Psyker in this way?
The zealot flamer is likely the least affected by this nerf, because of how quickly it can stack up the DoT.

Maybe the weapon blessings (especially Infernus variants) that apply DoT effects should get a bit of a buff to balance this out.

PS’s power cycler is unobtainable for normal mortals, without it, going down from 3 light attacks (there was a bug that allowed chained attack to get extra hit with charge, it got fixed too) down to just 1 is going to be a big hit for vet playerbase.

cant wait to test it in the evening

This patch is pretty depressing.

Flamer and Power Sword needed some slight nerfs, but these probably go too far.

But more to the point, for a patch focused on balance, where are the buffs to lagging weapons and fixes to broken weapons/blessings?

What in this patch will get people excited to play?

I feel bad for everyone chasing Power Cycler, and this is a perfect illustration of the terrible RNG and item locks coming home to roost in a negative manner. People are going to start getting upset.

Yeah…
I have power cycler, but i know how awful it was to get that thing in the first place.
In the end it cost me hours and hours of farming, but obtaining it was pure RNG (got it from Melk after upgrading tens of powerswords to orange quality).

This nerf should have probably been rolled out at the same time as we get a change to itemization, that allows us to change both blessings, and buy specific blessings without requiring a weapon that has it already.
That way, players would at least have a way to cope with this and mitigate it to a degree.

At least until then, the base number of charged attacks should be 2.
