Patch #4 - Blessings of the Omnissiah

im not getting my blessing when i break down weapons am i the only one?

so 2006 STILL isnt fixed yet, see you all next week

Yup, not coming back for this. Most, if not all, complaints with the game are not only unadressed, but even worse. Fixing the RNG grind by introducing more RNG is just a blatant showing of how much you ā€œvalue feedback by your communityā€.

I have tried multiple times to be constructive in my feedback, but you have proven that apparently you don’t really care about constructive criticism, so I guess I’ll check in for the next major patch and see if the continuously worsening reviews have woken you up somewhat.

We just pushed out a hotfix for an emergent issue that stemmed from the ā€˜Blessings of the Omnissiah’ update that went out earlier today.

  • Fixed an issue where the texture streamer did not de-allocate resident part of loaded textures properly causing big memory leaks when transitioning between The Mourningstar and missions

We’re aware of other additional stability issues caused by the earlier update and are also working on fixes for those to roll out as soon as we can.

If they didnt say things that should still be added, then things would never change. And yeah some people are never happy, but trying to put someone down like you are was kinda dumb

sweet, any ETA for a zel feat hotfix? the crit feat being broken kinda ruins my build. thanks!

Im still crashing on Gamepass every time I load in to the Mourning Star so…

Don’t worry. He is not alone… several here had tested anything in 1h30 and could say that the patch was as bad as they predicted it.

It’s fixed internally, should make it in to the next hotfix (which wont be today but wont be Next Weekā„¢ hopefully)

Hard to say without seeing the crash specifics (which you could raise in Technical Support ) but we have some fixes that sound similar to what you report coming in the same hotfix mentioned above that’s not far away.

So, secondary objectives are still absolutely useless to max level characters which are the vast majority of the limited remaining player base.

I appreciate the patch and patch notes, but it just baffles me how disconnected from reality your people responsible for the game balancing are.

Do they even exists or it’s something that someone with a totally unrelated role/competences are covering for?

nah money is kind of chase now. XP still terrible, hope they fix that somehow, but ordo dockets are (correctly imo) now the most scare resource.

that’s amazing - i sent you a message about another one that miiiiiight also be high priority, lol. check your dms.

First patch since I’ve shelved the game that seems worth checking out. Good work, another step in the right direction.

Not everyone wants that feature.

Nope odds are still astronomically low for curios. Could play thousands of hours and never get it (max specific curio).

i think the curio odds have actually gotten worse? the store is only rolling two curios rn. might be a launch thing

As in the patch notes, the store mostly rolls tiers 1 and 2. Melks has a higher chance of tiers 3 and 4. The ā€œblessingā€ on the curio can’t be changed, and it impacts the likelihood of perk tiers on curios. So you would need perfect blessing, and at least two perfect perks. Pretty awful.

Weapons with locks, for specific max combinations, are still awfully low. Patch did nothing except cost 1 million ordos for one 380 which seems to be the going rate.

What a fun process game play loop. Let me sort through heaps of useless weapons and stop playing the game for stretches of time to see store rotations and spam re roll perk and read weapon stats that will ultimately be useless.

no the store rolls mostly 1 and 2 blessing tiers on weapons. the store curios haven’t changed, ie they roll as often as they did before i think.

e: other than the fact there are fewer curios per store refresh now.

So, a lot of fixes, some improvements and a band aid for the gangrenous tissue some want to call the equipment system.

But extremely nicely written, kudos to @Fatshark_Hedge. I really like it. I only wish I didn’t suspect it was so detailed in order to downplay how the issues that some of us hate will remain the same.

This is a pretty good update. The crafting system is still worse than previous games. Psyker is still weak and not really worth playing. The rng grind is still pretty ridiculous. No crashes so far. The performance of the game is still worse than any other game.
