ah i would love if the unreved chainsword would bite more on the enemy like the chainaxe.
I mean, there are no blessings on curios, just different flavors of perks.
Oof. Especially since the blessing (or first perk) seems directly related to the tiers of perks that curio can roll. Awful.
im talking about the stamna/max health/max tougness stats at the top, the game calls them blessings
Good patch, hoping for some more optimization updates and maybe a new drop of cosmetics.
I still donāt get why this was implemented. Why not allow the crafting system to let us craft our god-roll weapons and not rely on needing a partially perfect weapon to then roll the other parts to god-roll status with?
I think it would of worked better if you allowed us to pick any mission and difficulty we wanted without modifiers, like in your previous -Tide games, and kept the random rolled missions strictly to the missions with modifiers.
Though making it so we donāt need to now place specific missions anymore for Melk is a welcomed change.
Iām glad Fatshark decided not to be shy about blessing buffs to make other build options possible. Something some of us asked for ![]()
iām routinely getting 500+ plasteel a damnation game. legit i think the bottleneck is now ordos and somehow +ordo is nowā¦good? i donāt know how that happened.
Too bad Psyker got shafted incredibly hard this patch. Itās now nearly impossible to use a non-force melee, because you have to stay on your staff and actively quell all the time. Rushing into melee with high peril, and then moving back out to use the staff is no longer a possible playstyle - which means they have made Psyker incredibly boring to play and limited the viable options of equipment dramatically. Good job FatShark. Once again you shaft the weakest class.
Roughly 2 mil dockets and got maybe 2 usable bases
.
Yeah Honestly was not expecting anything else.
That update improves the game a lot, thank you.
I donāt know if crafting the ultimate weapon is a good long term goal, but it surely is better than having no goal like before. The best long term goal is good gameplay and replayability. So some things should happen in the future⦠At the moment I play about 3 of the maps and it gets boring.
Iād welcome three more gameplay changes:
- the game still loves to spawn 1-2 poxies behind the players to just irritate them during horde combat or reviving.
- Muties - You have almost no life left, defended a horde, you hear a mutie spawn and already know he is after you - which he is. He just always is. And he always gets you - 90 degree turn around a wall at high speed? No problem. Then he bashes the last life out of the player, of course.
- 3/4 players are down and the game spawns an endless wave of everything into the last playerās face. I just had such a game (again). I was able to defend it with 1% health left, revived one guy, was shot immediately and the next infinite wave came; however he did it, he revived me 2 times while the horde was around us. Of course I got insta-killed again both times before I could pick me close combat weapon. And even more horde came in. It was minutes of tedious, stressful hacking with no break and of course the horde won.
Great patch. I canāt believe you did so much work in relatively little time.
Good changes overall, it might as well be a completely different game now. Especially with all the buffs to weapons and blessings (which were direly needed).
Sadly this is true, too. There was no need to nerf the Psyker quell speed on melee.
All it does is force even more micromanaging on the class, and forcing the playstyle into spending half your time actively quelling. Itās pure trash design, and whoever thought this was a good idea needs to actually try playing the game sometime.
Not only is the class pure glass with a really slow sprint speed, but now you also want us to spend all our time quelling and unable to block or do damage. What the actual hell. If the warp charges gave us +50% power, sure, but they donāt. Itās also an absurdly huge nerf to toughness on quell.
Iām so sad about this! While it does make sense to get rid of it for Humans killing Ogryns, Haymaker for Ogryns should still instakill other Ogryns IMO. It is SUCH a satisfying feeling and itās arguably the only redeeming quality of this blessing. Or maybe need to increase the instakill % against humans because now it feels useless. Maybe instead of 1/2/3/4 change to 1.5/3/4.5/6
Yeah Haymaker was of incredibly limited worth before, and they have now made it completely and totally worthless. In the patch that was supposed to make crap blessings good.
I canāt help but notice that all Psyker specific blessings are still absolute dogpoo, blazing spirit included.
I have gotten broke buying things to get their blessings.
I REALLY hope they take another look at Haymaker and tune it again. I JUST grinded my a** off for a IV Haymaker club and was loving the feel of Ogryn hunting instakills⦠just to have it nerfed 2 days later. Itās useless as it is now ā for killing Ogryns youāre better off with literally any other blessing.
Made an account just to Praise The Omnnissiah (and Fatshark) for this update. The crafting system seems very well thought out and there are a lot of good balance changes. I particularly like the poxburster change, now they can provide an advantage if countered correctly. Thanks guys, looking forward to more good stuff.
i am kind of hesitant to evaluate it as someone coming back to the game, because my reaction for sure comes from having a gigantic warchest to play with the new toys. but i have made more 500+ items on my alt today than i think my main has, and iāve been able to level up several to full with only a few games (got 550 plasteel in a damnation run).
emperors gifts still suck but iām getting T4 blessings from them now occasionally. i can test out a ton of blessings now that iāve gotten all the level 3s for braced autoguns since itās shared. the UI experience here is incredibly awful, but everything else has been a gigantic step up.
Going on lists that other people are compiling, Emp blessings seem to be nerfed into the ground, routinely giving you as low as 220 for a damnation + script/grims run. Itās all about looking like itās progress, but really itās all the same RNG with almost no chance of getting something you want.
