Was the MGXII forgotten or won’t it be touched?

Came here to ask the same thing. It says all Lasguns, but there’s no specific call out to my sweet sweet MG XII :frowning:

Nerfing the ammo pool on the Headhunter Autoguns is not in anyway justified by the increase in damage, and especially not then also the reduction in rate of fire for some of them. If the ammo pool is reduced that much I feel they will be a lot less viable, regardless of their damage boost.

RIP the Vraks mk7 Hunter.

If there is no mistake, MGla probably gonna be better than MG12, cause of fire rate+recoil or kinda of alternative.

Well, chainsword no longer 1-shotting things without power invested is good, tho. Right?

Even then, aren’t chain axes still slightly out of line with the weaker rev attacks?

The recon lasguns were terrible before the last patch and are only good now because of the rending nodes on Veteran’s tree. You’re nerfing those already–and buffing the health of elites–so don’t do something as awful as double down on nerfing this gun too. Totally unnecessary.

While I’m happy with the overall IAG changes, I’m really not vibing with the falloff nerfs for the columnus. Thing desperately needs DMG. Why turn it from a carbine into an SMG? It just makes it redundant relative to braced autoguns.

Nah Vraks is extremely ammo efficient. Will have to play with it to see, but the damage nerfs seem pretty light so I’d say this is better for it overall than a bigger damage nerf.

About patch notes generally, some good stuff, and some really weird stuff that makes me wonder what planet your play testers live on.

Further buffs to DS mk IV? Seriously?! I guess watching it 2-3 shot crushers with the heavy attack wasn’t enough.

Also DS V falls even further behind IV this patch. I don’t understand what you’re doing with the dueling swords their balance makes absolutely no sense.

Also for the second time you’ve just forgotten to buff chain axe heavy rev attacks. Surely it’s not intentional that the light rev and heavy rev do basically the same damage. That can’t be intentional right?! @Reginald you also giggle when you saw they forgot this again? @FatsharkCatfish you were tagged about this issue in the chain weapon thread. Can you please pass on to the combat team that they seem to have forgotten Chaxe rev heavy attacks exist.

I’ll have to test that. I suspect this change puts the chainsword behind the chain axe and i would, lore wise, expect the chain axe to be weaker than an eviscerator. Not that this game has an eviscerator in it.

No because that’s still too low to oneshot basically anything other than groaners and probably still too slow to safely kill more than one poxwalker. But it might make it to barely useful lol!

Idk about that–beyond the fact that they are more than doubling the base damage, they are also sextupling the finesse modifier. I imagine a bayonet strike to the head will kill most basic enemies (though I still wouldn’t use it as a main melee, just due to the lack of cleave and bad dodges).

So removal of infinite dodges on force sword requires what 20 odd lines of buffs to compensate? I don’t know seems like a good deal to me.

Welp… that’s a lot of resources I just flushed down the drain on my Mk VId. Guess I’m out again until post Vet talent tree rework. No sense investing in gear while we’re still in weekly weapon balance whack-a-mole.

Fix crafting.

There are three overlapping modifications on it. With due respect, both of us are just guessing at what tier it will be in post patch. I’ll agree to apologize if it’s still good. If you agree to exclusively run it if it’s now crap. Guaranteed.

They brought a large number of weapons up with the patch. Players invested a large amount of crafting resources into newly viable weapons. Newly viable weapons were then adjusted with multiple overlapping changes two weeks later. If you view me being annoyed by that as “roadblocking” so be it.

My dude I change loadouts continuously, running one thing on its own for a full week sounds miserable no matter how good it is.

Complain about the crafting system all you like, I’ll be there with you, but if you try to suggest weapon balance isn’t allowed to be adjusted because of it I’m gonna tell you that’s ridiculous and bad for the game.
