Error - Out of Memory
i was playing some darktide on last sunday 9 am then i boot up darktide later it said out of memory with no having any memory leak and cant play darktide for almost an week

have you tried verifying your files?
My guess is broken data. But since you don’t provide a crash guid I can’t look at the crash.

ive have it since last sunday and i tried to do an clean instal and verify my files multpile times and it dont even work

do you get a popup when it crashes? should be a guid attached to it that I can lookup

ya it i get that popup where can i find that and i looked at the patch comments on steam and i see alot of players get crashes on launch and i will send it to you when i get it

if you dont get a guid as requested you can manually upload crashdump and console logs from
C:\Users\Ivar\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs
C:\Users\Ivar\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\crash_dumps
start with a crashdump since this is what we most likely can find any info in.

there is nothing at the crashdump these are the only ones i got
could be that it fails to generate those during a crashdump.
If possible can you find a log with
Out of memory
or
<<Crash type>>memory<</Crash type>>
the log i got looks like it was a session without a crash atleast, but looks like you get backend error since maybe steam isn’t running or you started it manually from exe?
Can you pm your steam id and i can see if I find you manually in our crash db?

so far I have not found any, could be that i don’t use that functionality that often so I might do it wrong, so I’ve asked for help.
It can also be that, that if you run out of memory we fail to upload it of some reason.
so perhaps you can try search in your appdata folder or retrieve latest log after a crash and upload it.
Since then I hopefully have some insight what’s causing your out of memory

the weird part was before it all happend my darktide did run just fine till i boot up it later the day and the out of memory thing happend
are you looking into the folder below?
C:\Users\Ivar\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs
the previous log was not a crash and the launcher log doesnt contain any crash info
oh wich one should i look for this is new to me
if you get a crash, get the log with the latest timestamp in that folder (pretty sure thats the correct one). Should be same if you paste %APPDATA%\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs in your explorer.
the console logs are still from 3/12/2024 not 4/12/2024 it havent been updated to day and i did an clean instal
