This can’t keep going on.
Fatshark we need some form of communication between players and your balancing team, with acknowledgment at its bare-minimum. We can deal with your crafting system and investing hours upon hours to roll for weapons-- however when you nerf things to the ground and those hours spent are destroyed you push out players who spent time getting those. When you butcher playstyles you also push out players.
Fatshark most of us love cosmetics and I honestly hope this veteran change has pushed players to the forums like me. We need you to listen to community suggestions, not – in my opinion at least – arbitrarily nerf veterans to the ground and destroy multiple talents in the tree that were based off high-intensity play with headshots at their base. At the worst I know if this keeps on going on, I won’t ever be buying a cosmetic and I hope that people in a similar situation start keeping their wallets closed until this is addressed properly.
I only see discussions on your forums about this issue and honestly no place to put this. I don’t agree with the community challenging your devs to play damnation or auric but for those of us who need to for the time vs gain investment being more worthwhile in your crafting system. It hits us hard.
I’m really trying not to run off and complain about all the changes that happened to veteran, so I’ll end this post here and let anyone else run off with it-- but we need more communication between the players, community in general and developers. this “hotfix” and “rework” has proved it.
You’ve missed the two most glaring issues about the veteran class; and added your own to spice it up
–Lack of branches and mixing of trees.
–Total cost and talent tax.
++Nerfed rewarding talents, for gimmicks.
