Oodle Failed to Decompress Error after Update

Issue Description:

Oodle Failed to Decompress Error occurs after every update. The linked fix on other threads does not work. When verifying the game files, it is locked in an endless loop, and will verify files for 12+ hours with no changes. The only solution has been to completely uninstall and reinstall every. single. update.

When the update first dropped this morning, I was able to log in and play fine for a few hours with no problems. It is only about 5-10 hours later that this issue has started to occur.

Note:
I have followed every step in the attempted fixes, RAM check was fine, game nor launcher are in Admin mode, etc. Issue persists.

Note 2:
The fix using the command prompt to fix Easy Anti Cheat does not fully work. Even adjusting the save file path does not allow the command prompt to recognize the command.

  2. Launch via Launcher.
  3. Log in and attempt to log into the Mourningstar with a character.
  4. Begin to load.
  5. Error occurs.

Upload Console Log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs
  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’

  4. Locate the darktide_launcher.log in this directory
