You know most of the changes regarding crafting and weapons can be tweaked via numbers, like drop rate, stat cap, minimum modifier range, plasteel to dia ratio? Unironically would be fantastic : )

Iâm also surprised you think it would take some huge effort to make a system that isnât crap. It would be exactly the same amount of effort as in making a system that IS crap.
In fact, probably a lot less work, because they wouldnât have had to create all the horrible blessings or have multiple tiers of them. They wouldnât have to create the power budget system, and tons more. Making a simple good deterministic system would have saved them a lot of time.
What about stop playing the game? which is what I think people are talking about doing here if they donât fix this obvious waste of time they call a crafting system lol.
Donât forget they are already months late delivering said crafting system and are now going back on what they previously said would be in that crafting system.

See where Iâm going with this? They are in no position to ignore their player base now there is no goodwill or trust for them anymore they are a meme now. If they really want to double down on this âdesign intent TMâ, at the very least, they could:
- Allow us to UPGRADE the locked perk/blessing tiers.
- Lower the mat prices of upgrades or double the materials we receive in game
- Allow us to share blessings across weapons (which it doesnât currently, to my understanding?). Why canât Brutal Momentum extracted from a Bully club be used on a Shovel?

Iâve laid out several points in my previous post that are incredibly easy to implement, realistic, fairly balanced and reasonable. They require player input and they allow player engagement. They allow player agency in their gear and they donât require RNG luck. That last point is key. The main argument laid out is not about items being impossible to get. Lucky rolls happen, of course. Every single point has been made explaining that the excessive levels of RNG without a parallel system of no-RNG but directed and perhaps lengthy grinding is unacceptable to a great many players, so that people can either get very lucky or slowly and steadily work towards making that luck through grind. That is a necessary distinction to understand.
Of course you may have your viewpoint, and you have stated it repeatedly, but you are fundamentally unqualified to speak against the posters who have stated their position clearly. That you are seemingly happy to accept a fundamentally poor system that disrespects your time and unwilling to strive to improve the situation for everybody is actively harmful to the enjoyment of all those other players, so you will get nothing but pushback and bafflement and probably anger by continuing to contribute nothing to this discussion.

I understand that several are disappointed by the system we will get, but as I said a long time ago, it was predictible.
And, you can propose anything you want, you can explain it is easy to implement, but⌠it wonât happen cause it is not the direction the devs have chosen. And thatâs all what I said.
I did not say that I love the system. But it is what we will get. And, from my job, I have learnt to be realistic. You can propose a modification of the entire system lot of times, it wonât happen.
You want to get rid of RNG, and I can understand it as thatâs also not something I like, however they did the game around the RNG. Even VT2 has RNG elements.
So, in my mind, it would be better to propose things that can be easily implemented and that can lower the impact of the RNG, cause these propositions could have chance that they are taken into consideration.
I said it⌠I donât like RNG⌠I would prefer something where you can invest crafting material and build your weapon like you want and choose what you want to see strong as modifier and what you would sacrifice for that.
However, I know it wonât happen⌠if you read the blogs, it is evident it wonât happen.
So, you surely think it can disturb your point of view, but the system that they will give us will improve the situation. It is not perfect, it is not what I would have dreamt, however it is better than what we actually have.
So now, considering what can be done, what you would want to improve the situation?
Not something that they will never consider implementing, not something that will maybe come in one or two years (red weapon, increasing modifiers), but something they could do this year and that would be part of the system they described.
Also, you know seeing people repeating something untrue is also harmful to my enjoyment. I totally understand that several are disappointed, but trying to push for an entire new system wonât change what we will get. Even if they would take this into consideration, you would be surely happy that they delay the patch, but I would not. Also, when they would describe the new system, a lot of players would be disappointed cause, what we will get now, is what they announced a long time ago⌠several bought the game after reading what FS planned to do (believe it or not)âŚ
However, speaking of your concerns, like by example something Deathstruck did, can add input about the current system that could be taken in consideration by devsâŚ
Again, the system is not perfect, but it improves the situation. And, as I like this game, that I play every days, I want the game to get updates and improved.
And until I can test the new system, that maybe I will dislike when playing with it, I cannot say it wonât improve what we actually have. From what I have read, it will.
If you read the blogs, you would also believe that getting the exact amount of aquillas was immeasurably complex and it wonât happen, but it did happen.
The only way to make sure âit wonât happenâ is if nobody asks for it.

Why is this Ralendil guy fielding all the questions that FS should be fielding? This is one random internet guy that is defending the hell out of broken systems and everyone is just feeding right into it.
My opinion? It wonât increase player numbers thats for sure. It is a marginal upgrade at best and it still makes it so that you cannot experiment with anything without rolling a brand new weapon from scratch everytime you basically want to try different breakpoint or combination.
Yeah i guess i can swap out that 1 blessing but what if i want to change both for some reason? I want that Carapace/Flak roll with these blessings? You literally need full armory of same types of 380 weapons to have anything similiar to what vermintide 2 had.
In vermintide2 i would just keep rerolling my single red tier weapon if i wanted to try out something. Yeah bit tedious but i could always get there with 15 mins of rolling.
I donât even want to imagine balance changes top of this. You can literally brick your weapons with a bad balance patch. Oh we just implemented this uber ultra cool blessing that might combo with this other blessing? Well sucks to be you, better roll a other 380 base.
