Taking a break from the WoM Beta madness to cook up a mahoosive spicy bean and vegetarian sausage stew. Garlic bread on the side.

Dirt and water to save money

Stir-Fry! The Mrs. and I are moving into a new place and we’ll be putting together a huge meal that will last the rest of the week. Broccoli/carrots/water-chestnuts/chives/snap-peas/garlic/mushrooms/chilies for veggies, chicken for protein, and all of it will be sauced and served over a bed of long-grain white rice.

I’m quite looking forward to it. tanks for asking, Julia! Now I have to go figure out how to make a spicy bean and sausage stew… good call on the garlic bread!

I love the idea of meal prepping like that, I wish I had the patience to!

Good luck with the move!

And almost even the same price as dirt / water!

Your meal sounds good! As a vegetarian myself and spice lover, I’m envious.

Personally I’ve been craving some pizza, so might grab a pizza on my way home from work this evening.

Fry-day?

Nothing special for me, I’m lazy and live alone, so I tend to go with microwave meals.

As I’m writing this, I’m preparing lunch for tomorrow: Diced pork meat and potatoes with sauce made of heavy cream, onions, mushrooms and mustard. Regular seasoning with a little bit of basil and minced paprika.

I’ve googled it up… This looks really good, gotta try to replicate it as best as I can with some local ingredients.

Yea, it’s probably my favourite Swedish food. Prolly gonna rustle some jimmies, but Italian Meat balls are far superior to Swedish Meatballs.

I can never find any spicy noodles that I like! If I were to hypothetically make something it would probably be swedish meatballs or korvstroganoff aswell… Seriously I’ve lived on swedish meatballs for weeks in the past.

FYI the chicken was pretty good, it was a bit on the greasy side but the breading was light and not overly salty which was nice.
