I’ve noticed the most effective way of cutting down on crashes has been to turn off Steam in-game overlay. I’m still getting crashes as described in the post linked above, but not nearly as many.
Also, a small percentage of these crashes also crashes my Logitech mouse software (Logitech Gaming Software). No errors given by the software, it just crashes abruptly…I only really notice it because my hotkeys don’t work anymore and have to restart the program.
Try lowering worker threads in the launcher. That’s the only way I can fix my crashes. Before this lasted patch I had to play on 1 thread but now I can use 4. Try lowering it by 1 until it stops crashing. You’ll lose a lot of frames but at least you can play lol
My friend’s game updated and set his lighting to extreme; he was crashing every game until he lowered it to high. Something in the video settings might have changed for you?
