Mines is easy. Most of the all the map pack DLC weapons have only 4 measley skins to choose from, and only a single glow. The Winds of Magic skin line is especially egregious as Fat Shark chose to make shiny skins out of the rusty base skins rather than the more ornate orange skins.
But also…this is a win for anyone who dislike the glowing blue or glowy purple skins in general, but still want something a little special looking. Weave illusions have a cool subtle shimmer to them.
So my favorite skins I’m using now are…
Oh and I can’t find photos, but also Tuskgor Spear weaves uses the ornate look, and Brettonian Longsword’s weave illusion is the closest we will ever get to the Holy Blade’s appearance as a weapon. Like a halfway holy blade.

I’ve been consistently using the Weave skin on Rapier for Saltz because it has golden parts, also for some reason my OE Masterwork Pistol has a golden glow instead of red, looks amazing and the description of it says it’s worthy more than Thorgrim Grudgebearer’s crown lol, I also look forward to unlocking the dual hammers Weave skin for my Bardin, they look like Thor’s hammers with a red glow, boxy shape and a leather covered grip, just awesome. With Bounty Hunter I’ve been using the Falchion Weave skin, and last but not least with my Warrior Priest I like to use the big hammer with Weave skin because it has a wonderful blueish with red color, not just the red tiny glows
Yeah the best part about the skin is they aren’t the ugly purple, meaning they’re an alternative to the light blue glow or no glow at all (or red if it’s one of the few rare items with crimson skin)
The Masterwork Pistol has an actual unique description other than it being from the weave?

So… I don’t know if it’s a glitch but the Masterwork Pistol has 2 names in my game as of now, “Krankthrundtak” in the top left overview and “Smakthrundtak” in the center bottom at the skin selections, and it’s description goes like this in my language: “This is believed to be the first Masterwork Pistol made by dawi hands. Worthy more than Thorgrim Grudgebearer’s crown.”
Weird, maybe a bug?
Although I remember Grail Knight had unique names for weave illusions too

Hey I just found out the Cog Hammer also has a unique description about it’s Weave skin and it goes like that: “It is believed this weapon was used by Morgrim, a ancestor god and patron of the engineers. This is very probably just propaganda.”
Forgive my stupid question but I don’t play Weaves, haven’t done so in a very long time and don’t intend to do so. But how do I get hold of the Weave skins for weapons and staffs?
After the QoL update in May, you unlock the Weave illusion of each weapon by crafting the weapon in the Athanor (the crafting system for the Weaves of Magic game mode)
