Honestly, if you had no knowledge of the character beforehand, could you even tell that she’s female from looking at that design? Fatshark, it’s okay for a female’s curves to be somewhat visible through their attire, and it’s okay to show some skin. I’m not asking for bikini armor, but as overly covered as Keri’s other careers are you could at least tell that she’s a she. I’m sure I’ll be accused of trolling for voicing such a “controversial” opinion, but I felt the need to say something as this questionable design decision is making me consider not purchasing the DLC at all.
I think the opposite. This is a war, Kerillian is a soldier, therefore wears full clothing/attire and doesn’t expose skin for no good reason.
No joke, it’s why I’ve literally never played as Zealot. I just hate how he looks, I don’t want to see his noodles arms, dude really needs some sleeves.
Honestly, I’m tired of games where the woman wear bikini armor. I like that Kerillian does not have her armor sexualized, unlike 99% of fantasy games.
Being a woman kind of falls behind ‘Don’t leave stabbables out’. Armor is for practical use, not to enhance ones bust or pinch the waistline.
I certainly hope so cause this post is cringe. “Shes not lady enough!”
Yeesh.
Honestly, if you had no knowledge of the character beforehand, could you even tell that Bardin’s a dwarf from looking at that design? Fatshark, it’s okay for a dwarf’s skin to be somewhat covered their attire, and it’s okay to show some Gromril. I’m not asking for full plate, but as scantily clad as Bardin’s other careers are you could at least tell that he’s a dwarf. I’m sure I’ll be accused of trolling for voicing such a “controversial” opinion, but I felt the need to say something as this questionable design decision is making me consider not purchasing the DLC at all.
New elf looks great. Love the white streaks of hair. Sienna skins on the other hand almost all look frumpy, and showing more skin is certainly not the answer there.
Yes.
Looking at it objectively she is slim, and because of that her curves stand out despite the armor masking them a bit. Maybe someone wouldnt know at a glance but with a second look aimed at finding out it´s clear enough.
This if the silliest thing I’ve read in a long time. Your main reason for not buying a DLC class is that it doesn’t appear lady like enough? Thank god everyone else in this thread sees your clown nose clearly even if you don’t.
One of my favorite things about vermintide 2 was that nobody in the game was hotter than me. Except maybe Lohner.
The lack of any sexualization whatsoever, in fact, the extreme pragmatism exercised in the design, puts me at ease.
I only wish I could better coordinate colors.
I really love that Vermintide doesn’t sexualize its characters (besides Saltzpyre’s RAVAGED BODY, of course) at all. And yeah, I suppose you can theoretically have unarmored skin without it being sexualized, but it also doesn’t make sense.
#FirstWorldProblems - to much clothes on female elf warrior… lamo
Only if Saltz’ next career is him cosplaying Sigmar in a loincloth so he can show off his sexy, ravaged abs of his.
That immediately made me think of this: https://youtu.be/djumZlYSJjE?t=1293
and ofc “If the Emperor had a Text-to-Speech Device” that it’s likely a nod to (which I think is a Jojo reference, but I’ve not seen any of it)
If Fatshark doesn’t sexualize the characters, as you say, why did they give Krub that big mustache?! Checkmate, guys.
