Shouldn’t be waiting months and months for you to fix something completely broken and overpowered that isn’t meant to be in the game.
People are downloading an auto tag mod on nexus and using it on combination with this and it COMPLETELY breaks the game. These geniuses convince themselves it’s normal to have an auto tag mod playing the game for them, it’s actually baffling.
Damn, and all I want is a mod that doesn’t play the annoying double-ping sound whenever I tag something manually.
It should probably be “hold q” instead of double-ping. Or at least have the choice. I double-ping things on other classes that I just really want to draw attention to (like poxbursters or trappers).

It replaces the ping/tag sound with the eye marker sound so it’s less intrusive
The ability by itself is pretty mid, given how it eats up your ability charge. The issue, as usual, are the officially sanctioned cheats. Don’t think anything will ever be done about those. Cross your fingers their next title manages it better.

Isn’t just tagging things while at 0% charge also work effectively on this? I have it binded to T and it’s a very comfy key to do so
But yeah they should force the Skitarii to have at least 25% of a charge to use noospheric, but tbh I’d like if the minimum was 1 full charge (it would still consume 25% only)
yeah I dont think the mod is a big issue OP, it only has 580 unique downloads
its not so different from a mod that lets you hold LMB down and spam light attacks, like it just frees up one finger spamming right?
whats making it OP/broken is Noospheric command by design was likely supposed to require 25% of a charge but it doesnt and can be cast at like 1% and spammed for crazy dmg (idc if they fix it though i like it lol)
It’s not the biggest factor but it’s also unwise to count out things that remove attention cost as offering a significant advantage.
The mod is fine without the broken ability, since it’s taking away the attention cost of an action that is otherwise not particularly valuable to be doing.
Though I think most would agree having players auto spam tag on everything they look at is bare minimum incredibly obnoxious and unenjoyable to play alongside.
Blame Fatshark’s inablity to plan around an annual goverment mandated vacation.
I was pretty much destroying everything I was spam tagging before anyone had a chance to do anything. I can only imagine if I actually put in some effort and practice and combined it with an auto tag mod that basically makes it so I can focus solely on long range engagements save for hordes obviously.
I don’t know if you guys have actually be in a game with a decent/good Skitaari that knows how to properly use this ability - but the Servo skull alone is outdamaging players themselves, with ease. A servo skull with Noospheric command is the equivalent of a pocket Veteran floating on your shoulder that has a spammable lasgun with insane fire rate and absolutely no downsides other than it eating away at using your actual special.
