Noospheric Command Triggers on Single-Click Tag

The Blitz description states “You are accompanied by a Servo-Skull that you can order by Double Tapping your Tag input.”

Any attempt at tagging an enemy causes the Noospheric Command skull to start blasting like Danny Devito. This causes numerous major gameplay problems if you’re a prolific tagger.

  1. I am constantly muscle-memory single tagging bombers and the skull blows myself and others up without my consent.

  2. Your charges are drained like crazy unless you train yourself to never tag enemies.

I feel like this was a mistake. Please make the behavior match the tool-tip. At the very least don’t let it trigger if it’s not already tagged and glowing red.

Heya have you checked to see if you’ve got Companion Target Tag set as press twice and not press once in your input settings? (I assume so but just in case!)

This fixed it!

I had no idea this was even a toggle in options. I definitely never touched it but it was set to single.
