Can you please fix the input delay on xbox (idk if it happens on PC) All the time none stop there is a slight input delay and stuttering/frame losses? (idk what the problem is, that isnt my job to find out for you)
Its happening subtly all the time but like 5% of wep swaps and ability uses, it will mess you up completely and its infuriating. I’m just in a perpetual war with the swap weapons button coz it REFUSES TO LISTEN. I click to swap weapons NOTHING HAPPENS so I can’t quick block or quick push a dog it’s so annoying. Or it won’t swap weps so I’ll just deal with it and keep fighting with melee and just out of nowhere I’ll swap weapons mid swinging like it only just got the command getting me hit.
Same with using my ability it just doesnt do it when I click.
It makes me want to commit a horus heresy when I’m trying to use 2x dashes on zealot as I try to use a charge and guess what, nothing fuggin happens so naturally I press the bumper again just for it to use both my charges.
It does it even when I shoot aswell, I’ll click, shoot my gun, it will fire animation wise but no bullet comes out of the gun and it’s still in the clip but it completely cucks me coz I think I shot and I get hit by something coz the shot should have staggered it.
Everyone I play with has this happening to them, so don’t try pull a fast one and blame my connection like you did with the crashes I was sending.
The servers and netcode for this game are seemingly unfit for purpose as this plagues both xbox and PC players.
None of the inputs are reliable and the disconnect betwen what we input and what the game does becomes very obvious and incredibly frustrating.
The zealot dash issue has been going on since beta, I complained about it then, and I have complained about it more than once since. Fatshark are either unwilling or unable to fix it and are not making any changes to abate the issue.
On PC we are lucky to have mods like Guarantee Weapon Swap and Guarantee Special Action to make the game more playable, but it’s still a nightmare trying to get the game to do what I want more than half the time.
Unbinding “Swap weapon” and having dedicated buttons for melee and ranged helps too as that way you can button mash until the server is paying attention and swaps.
The shooting thing is really bad recently for me too, almost every time I swap from Zarona revolver to melee again, the instant I am holding the melee it fires a shot - the moment I switch back - or it switches back on its own - it tries to reload without me pressing R.
Game is pure jank and I am only playing out of some kind of stockholm syndrome at this point.
