Nonstop consistent crashing

Issue Description:

Been playing the game since launch having inconsistent experiences with this but now it seems to be a lot more prominent, when i try to load the game i can only load the launcher usually it will load the game up for about 5 - 10 seconds and then give “Stopped responding error” really want to try getting into the game again especially now that my friends on Xbox are playing it.

At the moment I have tried.

  • Updating/Reinstalling Drivers.
  • Verifying game files.
  • Uninstall/Reinstall
  • Tried using Windows System File Checker (Not too sure if i used it correctly but think i did)
  • Disabling Background Applications
  • Uninstalling/Reinstalling Visual C++

And my specs are

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Processor: Intel i5-11400H
  • Memory: 8 GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU

Any help would be appreciated.

Yep same here. Had no problems until this morning. Now I can’t start the game. Yayyyy

Ive just been having it constantly albeit sometimes working for periods of time but ive only actually been able to play for 55? hours since launch.

Well i guess ill head to bed then and hopefully theres a solution here in the morning.

my issue isn’t the exact same as yours but its right after I press play. I’ll paste my solution but it may not work for you - this is a copy paste from my thread.

fixed it

open RUN by pressing windows key + R
type in %appdata%
navigate to fatshark and open the folder
delete darktide folder completely
launch game
it should pop up and tell you that you meet minimum requirements (see photo attached)
I expected the same crash as usual but it worked fine
