Game crash on launch pc game pass

Issue Description:
Game crashes on launch 100% of the time ( pc Xbox game pass)

Steps to Reproduce:
Lunch the game. Initial window will appear. Then click play game will lead to crash.

Was working about 1 week ago. Didn’t change anything now won’t load at all.
Previously could play on max settings with high end pc.

Have done fresh install and tried the confirm integrity option as well.

Also play on Xbox as well if that makes any difference as use my account in both pc and Xbox

Any update on this. Posted the crash log that it gave me.

Can still play on my Xbox but the pc version was much smoother.

Seen that quite a few people have reported a similar problem.

Pc gpu 4090 cpu 7700x 64gb ram.

You should be able to work around this particular issue by:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\MicrosoftStore
  4. Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory
  5. Launch Darktide as normal

Please note that this will reset any custom keybindings.

You will then need to use the ‘Verify and Repair’ option, which is accessible via the Xbox App and will ensure the installation is complete.

  1. Open the Xbox App
  2. In ‘My Library’, select ‘Darktide’
  3. Select ‘More Options (…)’
  4. Select ‘Manage’
  5. Select ‘Files’
  6. Select ‘Verify and Repair’

I am also having this problem. I have tried this work around and it still doesn’t work. I have tried everything including uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game and uninstalling and reinstalling my graphics drivers. This is a new issue that I was not seeing 72 hours ago.

Experiencing the same issue, even after tryin the workaround proposed by Julia. Same console logs everytime.
