Issue Description:
Crash on launch after clicking ‘Play’ on launcher
Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch Darktide
- Wait for launcher
- Press play
- Wait for ‘loading shader cache’ to complete
- Game crash report menu opens

Unsure, cannot get into game to verify.

Note: No console log present/created in relevant folder.
Just to note troubleshooting steps taken so far:
- Deletion of /AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\MicrosoftStore\Darktide folder
- ‘Verify and repair’ ran from windows store/xbox applications
- Reduced worker threads in launcher options to 1
- Updated GPU drivers to latest version
- Rebooted system and attempted re-launch with minimal background applications

Notes regarding my PC system and history:
- No system overclocking.
- No attempts to install mods for Darktide.
- Darktide is installed to M.2 NVME SSD rather than HDD .
- Only anti-malware/anti-virus software present is Malware Bytes and Windows Defender, (Malware Bytes included in system restart with disabled start-on-launch applications)
- No streaming, video recording or webcam related software installed or running.
- No apparent crashes on other games.
- Latest available Windows OS updates installed.
- Outdated system but meets minimum requirements, running on default low settings, have successfully played the game in the past week.

Although, if any insight into a potential root cause can be ascertained from the launcher logs it would be much appreciated if required later.
