That’s fine…
That’s just that people that don’t wait others have to accept also that they could die like big sh1ts… They tend to be angry when they die cause they have not waited.
However, I disagree with you . The game is also about looting resources.
I don’t know about you, but the farming in this game really pisses me off. And as for leveling up characters, this is a sore subject of mine, it took me half a year to level up the last one, and I did it so that by the 13th patch I would have all the characters 30+…
To each his own, I don’t blame anyone, but when I go to AM for some reason it hurts me to see someone looking for loot while the team is fighting and moving forward
Explanation: I don’t like crafting system, like everybody. I can live with it cause I have learnt (in a looong beta test where I took part) to deal with the system of one game. So, I deal with it, or if I dislike it too much, I give up a game.
However, looting is fun in DT. Cause you put yourself in difficult situation. When you’re alone against a bulwark, that a dog comes etc… then here, you practice and learn how to deal with any situation.
It is a lot easier with a stealth… but can be done with any class and any aptitude.
And believe me, being alone without any possibility that someone can revive you (cause they have not waited you) is something that push you to not commit errors (or it is game over) and that will improve your skills.
EDIT and precision: I don’t need to loot actually… I just do it for the fun and cause I may need these materials in the future.
I’m curious why people speed run a level? What purpose is there in it?
Did speedrunning not come about originally/generally because it was the best way to quickly rack up loot and XP?
No point getting XP past level 30.
No loot of note for finishing a level.
Speedrun = less pewpew fun.
I get you might want to speed run to show you can, but I dunno, just seems a bit odd to me to want to speed run, but then at the same time, not want loot along the way!?
…and I could go on. Same difference. Crafting is a broken POS and therefore bothering with crafting materials is moot. I still loot out of habit but gave up on upgrading my gear and so can 100% get behind anyone who says “kark it” and just plays the mission for the fun of it.
