It needs to change to something the player can control. Their own death. I cannot control a level 9 joining our group and being forced to do everything in my power to keep them alive, or vote kick them, or leave mission as soon as they die. It is an awful situation to be stuck in.
Yeah, I usually change that penance to something else.
If you have a rusher in your team who gets themselves killed while the team is still 3 rooms of monsters behind then there is little you can do. Playing lower difficulties for this penance often doesn’t help either because newer players tend to get themselves killed by all kinds of stuff.
I make my teammates sign something when the round 1st starts that if they die, then I get a free subway sandwich
In my case, that happened right before I made this post, the level 9 joined mid mission. I said in chat I was doing no death weekly. I don’t hate the player; I hate the game for creating that awkward situation.
Somehow the 0 player deaths job is one of the least offensive to me, but I still hate seeing it.
why i get “it” being as useless as the popes balls, kill x/y ranged, pick plasteel and diamantine plus “monster hunter”, gets me covered after 3 auric maelstrom tops.
number might vary lower down, still i prefer gambling a few ordos i got back at the end anyways.
can’t change the usefulness of the objective, but ignore it itself
