Arbiters reminds me of the time back when smite was broken on Psyker which entailed absolute braindead gameplay of rushing and autoscrolling.
I don’t want to the new class to get a nerf hammer but maybe a rework of certain skills and their shotgun.
I guess so. There is literally nothing in need to be reworked or nerfhammered in Arbitres. Veteran and Zealot do need reworks of their trees and some weapons
Arbitres is good at almost everything but best at none. Specialist killing? Vet is still better. Horde clear? Ogryn and Psyker are better. Utility? All of the OG classes have more tools. Maybe only Monstrosity killing is on high level but you need 2 whole talents and 1 weapon to get to the level of let’s say pickaxe Ogryn (or hammer zealot but it’s a meme)
I don’t agree fully with specialist and utility but Psyker and Ogryn are definitely better with horde clear. Psyker is a glass canon and Ogryn is weaker to ranged and is massive.
Zealot is pretty good at everything in general and Vet is a good killer but requires skill to function well. Arbiters is just not enough skill to utilize in my opinion. He needs more weakness.
But let’s agree to disagree
There are definitely some outliers. Playing alongside three Arbites with shotguns turns the game into a race to see who pulls the trigger first. You can just stick with them and do nothing and be completely fine. If they all use grenades on top of that, it’s downright ridiculous. In my opinion, competing on the scoreboard shouldn’t be a winning strategy. Stealing kills at all costs, even when someone else is already handling a problem, just ruins the experience.
Now take into consideriation that there are 3 dogs on top of that!
My issue with the Exterminator Shotgun Mk III is that it doesn’t require any skill. You just aim vaguely in the target’s direction and pull the trigger. Compare that to weapons that actually demand precision and still doesn’t even compare. The combination of wide spread, high cleave, and absurd damage is a bit too much. I like the shotgun and don’t want it to be nerfed into oblivion, but right now, it stands out far too much.
he’s not only the jack of all trades, his talents allow for such sloppy gameplay that it forgives almost any mistake and gives a false sense of proficiency.
and while it is possible to outperform them still cause usually their lack of skill clearly shows its in a negative way amazing how much they get away with when with any other character the same dude is “the one” dying in the first encounters and alt/f4
at one point i had a gym room at home but quickly came to the conclusion with my limited funds it wouldnt be adequate.
but all in all my gym days are long gone
never made it past a certain level of “supplements”
a) because of the price, big ronny had about 15-20k a month in gear alone and
b) i only had a reliable source for testosterone, never would i have gotten something not from a real pharmacy
so as much as i would have liked to at the time (and it definately was healthier in the long run) my means of reaching real size was limited.
but as our arbites (and getting the turn back to topic) is a nice cheap distraction, i’d never go full synthol and call it gains
so off topic it might be, the analogy isnt that far off.
arbitrator masks lacking fundamentals to a point but if taken too far, it starts to show.
Off topic, but; wouldn’t have been worth it for you either because abusing PED’s would just have crashed your natural test levels and you’d have to hop on TRT for the rest of your life.
We all look up to Ronnie though because he lived his dream and has no regrets even with all of his current day challenges.
yeah, for me it was more of a “once like the big dudes”
even when starting with testosterone i was fully aware i wouldnt do tren/sustanol/dianabol and the likes.
did a good-enough research based on cicles like seth feroce did and boy oh boy that excel sheet was wild
common sense dictated i’d never be on any stage, so accepting side effects for no output wasnt a good deal.
BUT once the testo took off and training with the real meat heads was a nice experience i wouldnt wanna miss.
looked good as well 82kg 6% bodyfat and could lift 3x the weights.
tendons didnt take kindly to that swift transformation though
best “ritterschlag” was from the “twin” of dolph lundgren we had in the gym.
when doing barbell neck raises, dude was standing side by side.
everytime he stacked on some weights i kept up being roughly 20cm smaller and 60lbs lighter
end of sessions, he looked down, grunted and nodded
lightweight baby!!!
guys at the gym couldnt figure why i always mumbled “nothing but a peanut”
i mean these health problems are the price and right now poor ron is in hospital again.
but the man made himself literally immortal.
how many will remember the 90 year old dude next door living a “normal” life?
an 8x mr olympia is for the ages.
i wonder though if nick walker is going to see his 40s
I’ve never been that muscular or had a low body fat because running has always been my favorite form of exercise (and I just don’t have the psyche and personality needed to self torture for gains) , but I’ve been a little lazy in recent years, and while I’m still fairly skinny, I could lose some weight and trim up some.
I have a pretty rudimentary home gym (just some weights and a yoga mat), but it’s been vacation days (I’ll have two more weeks starting tomorrow), and the food has been good .
It’s always easier to make reasons for not doing something than to do it.
Having said that, my favorite bodybuilders have always been guys like Frank Zane, Ken Waller, Arnold (obviously), and Tom Platz (mainly for how insane he is during training) over mass monsters like Nick Walker (he’ll def not grow old), but I’ve never wanted to look like that myself.
Big props for going the distance! I give my heart to you, sir!
Ricardo Montalban as Khan (KHAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNN!!! ) is pretty peak physique for me:
6-8 meals a day was way worse than any needle or pain in the gym
at one point i was just stuffing steak and rice into the blender, poured water in and gave it a whirl.
taste was irrelevant
plus the cost of meat over the week was higher than the gear
my thanks
it was one of that things i could check off the bucket list and not have regrets about not having done it.
isnt that a reason to nerf stuff like castigator or the damage output of his club, that has 3 horizontal heavy swings for really good horde clear on top of it?
bad play should be punished instantly and obviously as to not promote bad habits higher up.
isnt that what a learning process is there for?
no class should have a safety net or cushion to let players pass above their station/abilities.
I did a quick reverse image search. That picture is from the Vancouver Pro/Am 2016 and the guy (Kenny O’Neill) explained that it was caused by an infection. I couldn’t find anything about him competing for Mr Olympia.
Not saying that there aren’t very bizarre physiques in modern body building. It’s just a hobby of mine to look up the source of pictures floating around the web.
well i doubt anyone competing would admit to using in his active time, but i’d find the chain of events with synthols as the cause of infection more reasonable.
plus both shoulders almost symmetrical “infected”… press x to doubt
the “example” was picked cause he clearly isnt in the same league as mr olympia contestants but if put in comparison with the arbites class and his (really like the phrase) “journalist mode”
he’d be there right behind coleman/cutler/heath etc
