Fatshark said they only care if people come back every 3 months for the new updates, and as someone who used to play regularly this is what I’m going to do from now on. But if they want me to come back why don’t they release any good updates? The last good one was secrets of the machine god in June 2024 because:
Last update to have new non class locked/paywalled weapons
Last update to add a unique full sized map
Since then fatshark only have 3 types of update: power creep updates, new modes and new p2w classes, none of which are very interesting. The classes are especially bad because arbites still has the same weapons he had on launch
When can we get back to the good updates?
When people stop buying the cosmetics and the game gets less popular. It shouldn’t be a surprise that they keep following what makes them money.

paid classes are better than nothing but it really would help even the new classes if they came with new maps and new weapons for the other characters
with the current execution it’s always the same thing:
- dlc class comes out but nothing else along with it
- nobody plays anything but the dlc class for the next weeks
- everyone gets kind of bored of just playing the same class in the same old missions
adding new missions and new content for old classes will solve 2 and 3
adding new enemies is a good step and they should keep that up
I’m prone to be critical of FS as anyone else here, but DESPITE all the new issues introduced, I consider talent tree reworks, Havoc, new maps and new classes a big win in my books.
I just wish the general number of (hopefully) unintended design issues, game engine issues, and bugs was “slightly” smaller.
The game is work in progress, and always will be, a true “live” service, Nurgle farts and all.
Ironically that’s what makes expeditions feel even more pointless. The remnants you got reset every grid reset and you get to restart from 0. Why isn’t there a career remnants obtained?
Seriously can’t we just get some f*cking maps already…like…sweet EFFING EMPRAH WHY CANT WE GET ANY GODDAMN MAPS!!! How many times have I asked now? For what? 2 karkin’ years?!
Operations doesn’t count. I don’t like the short format. I just want a serious injection of new maps.
New biome with 3 new maps.
2 new maps for glorianna.
At the very least at this stage.
How can we have paid for multiple dlc packs and still not had a SINGLE GODDAMN NORMAL MAP!?

No new full maps, you will have expeditions and operations and you WILL enjoy it!
