well the problem is they just now have started to acknowledge the problems. can’t really blame people to be upset when there are serious issues and everything we get from an official side is “players are very happy”. I agree that some of the threads go above of what is reasonable but I completeley understand the frustration. Most, if not all, of this could have easily been avoided by better communication.

That is the Point frustrated and upset, even measured reviews are fine. It’s the attacking everyone who disagrees with the community and excessive need for attention that is going overboard. We already have three to four clowns responses to me was as hominem attacks at me instead of anything constructive. And they are unfortunately are a loud minority that buries anything useful.
I don’t actually see this minority burying any discussion though, except for when people make several posts taking the bait and argue with them or complain about review bombing, which there is frankly no good evidence of that happening.
Most of the threads here that might start with a toxic statement are pretty quickly diverted into somewhat useful discussion or don’t get very many replies. You have to scroll down pretty far in the steam reviews until you start seeing straight up vitriolic and unconstructive reviews.
The small amount of toxic posters I’ve seen suck obviously, but I at least see where they’re coming from. I get why their frustration with the dev’s lack of communication might boil over into resentment. This whole complaining-about-the-complaining angle where people are like “they’re a vocal minority but they’re ruining [mysterious aspect of the game]!” is so weird to me. Like if you acknowledge that the devs aren’t listening to the more even headed and thought out critiques why would they listen to the posts from people who are clearly just mad or unable to make a coherent point? If this is true then we concede that the forums are basically just a busy box for people who got tired of playing the game, and of course there will be toxic commenters and people being stupid in that setting, welcome to the internet.

Just imagine the backlash if they put out more skins before they fixed anything else.
It doesn’t matter that it’s not the same people working on the different part of the game and that development time on one does not detract from the other (most likely, of course I cannot know for certain). It would just be very bad optics if they did that now.
Even an obvious thing like removing the rotation of the shop entirely and just add more skins where you could always see everything that is available (like Vermintide 2, which had a good cash shop) would probably not garner much praise at the moment.
I am in absolutely no rush to get a community response. They should work on this and release something that is polished and finished… which could have been a good first move, but what do I know.
I would rather them focus on the current state of the game right now, bud.
Ah yes, other people are toxic. Not you. Not the one who claims that legitimate negative reviews are “review bombing”, not you who call people of a different opinion than you toxic and snowflakes, repeatedly. Not you who call those who disagree haters and trolls. And, after calling those who disagree with you all of that, you then claim your post is “telling the community to calm down.” Calling them clowns and directly attacking them and not their opinion, but you’re not the one making ad hominen attacks.

Redy first I will agree to disagree with you. My experience is the reverse of yours where good conversations are derailed into negative commentary with no substance and buried by bad headlines. And yes I am feeding the trolls. The one calling me Toxic is somewhat right that I am here to disrupt that aspect. Never claim I am any better but let’s see the ones I called toxic reverted to personal attacks and except in one case of response I have not but sure I am toxic. I agreed to civil discourse and responded to those disagreeing with me with conversation but I guess that equates in your mind with personal attacks. Let’s see if you can come back with critical thinking and understanding now that you know that calling me as toxic as I call the community I am in is ineffective.
Edit: Also since reading isn’t your strong suit I said there are legitimate negative reviews among the review bomb. So please try to read.

I see multiple people here who keep calling it a review bomb, but that would imply there is some kind of coordinated effort to tank the reviews of a game that would be getting good reviews without the coordinated effort. That’s not happening, people just dont like that the game shipped unfinished. That’s a perfectly reasonable thing for a game to get bad reviews for.

Cool another unconstructive response but it is mature. This I grant is rant worthy and if it wasn’t every other thread I might even give it’s due.
Already muted this guy because he admitted he’s trolling but just out of curiosity I searched for “review bomb” on the DT subreddit because other people insist on mentioning it. Results were one thread with no upvotes, started and died almost 30 days ago, with 15 replies and nobody was vocal about agreeing with OP. Lmao if this is seriously what the people talking about this consider “plenty of coordination”.
Seems like the number of people calling for a review bomb are, at best, insignificant and not being listened to by the community. Why would a review bomb even be necessary when the game has enough problems to warrant an organic negative response?
Hope Fatshark is at least paying you guys to spread this weird rumor.

Why thank you again. And thanks for that updated info. Why do people do half the things they do? Anyways both you and CommanderJ seem both to have missed the point. But either way, good on you muting me, it seems at least a better response than what has been happening. I will let the community get back to it’s toxic waters since that seems to be the place most of you enjoy being. Redy however, I want to thank you for a honest discussion even if we disagree.
Fatshark only responds acknowledge to my few technical support or bug threads. Not spreading a weird rumor when it is what I see. The game needs some fixing but isn’t nearly as bad as the community thinks it is. The game rates average for a Warhammer 40k game. There are very few good ones.
