The balance adjustments in #13-14 for talents are looking good and really level the playing field nicely and open up a lot of different playstyles.
The weapon changes are great and add a lot more viable variety. Using the same couple weapons, simply because everything else sucked, was quite boring. Thankfully that seems to have been decently resolved, for the most part.
Acquiring blessings for all the different weapons though… Yikes.
happy fun time rock and the kickback, gud rations!
i think the mk7 HH is going to be a whole thing all by itself , like day one hot take but thats getting nerfered but gg its fun
force swords back that was nice. and i have to say the interplay with empowered psionics+smite has lead to an interesting build i didnt expect at all
only thing not loving out of what i tried was thunder hammer , its useable but i dunno its still just too low base damage and awkward. but the new crusher is a lot of fun
The increased Elite HP isn’t really noticable due to all the weapon buffs, everything still instadies. The ogryn and assail dmg nerfs were just a slap on the wrist, both still overpowers most other options / classes. The new shout is another nail in zealot’s coffin, being strictly superior to chorus, as if doing less dmg and being a lot squshier than the ogryn wasn’t a thing already. There is literally zero objective reason to play zealot currently. Running fast funny is not one.
Can we please stop making the game easier and easier, it already offers little to no challenge for seasoned teams, any of the mission types.
Yeah, the game definitely needs a difficulty 6 now! My post was just talking about how everything feels good because almost everything is comparably viable. The game got way easier in the process though like you said.
Yeah veteran shout got WAY overtuned. I actually made another post about that:
New difficulties aren’t needed. Minority of the player base does damnation, on top of that we have auric. Where more often than not people still fail pretty routinely.
I personally like this patch so far, minus changes to the iron helm. I preferred the wide sweep on heavy attack activation instead of the strike down. Now it’s essentially a weaker version of the crucius without being able to swing through a horde until it hits a good target.
And they managed to break a shitton of weapon, talent, end mechanics interactions that worked fine before again, as seen by the bug report forum.
It’s always 1 step forward 2 steps back.
