The mid map event, needs some tuning.
Mainly the sight lines around the spawn doors on the left hand side as you drop down and enter.
On hazard 5/Auric it is not uncommon to suddently get 5+ gunners and snipers etc from the doors and there is nothing to break line of sight for ~ 60% of the event area, unless you go on the other side of the main switch.
It becomes a death trap if you have any buttons to press on that side as there is no cover. just elevating some of the generators or consoles etc would fix the issue
Devil’s Advocate ( and slightly tongue in cheek as I’m not looking to resurrect another person’s argument ) - and I say this as someone who hates shooters spawning behind them:
Forums here are clamouring for harder Auric T5s where they get shot from all angles. Literally. So … guessing you’re not one of them?
This mid event could use the mid event treatment like the Carnival missions; move the medicae station to the mid event arena instead of the drop off point, and give it 4 charges instead of a couple charges. I think thats fair enough.
If we are to discuss the mid-event’s map geometry, then maybe the power pylons could have arc shields installed for each column, which makes each pylon a column of sorts. This, effectively, blocks line of sight for gunners and shooters that spawn towards the outskirts of the arena, and it can give players more options to flank these guys and not get shot at. Just my $.02.
The first part of the map is the real death trap with all the barrels out there ready to knock you off into the void. So far I only had problems on the event when others didn’t pulled their weight.
