I'm loving so far the geometry and enemy intensity changes on older maps

Credit where credit is due.

I had a chance to play on Enclavum Baross yesterday. I’m really happy at least some of our complaints about insufficient game intensity were heard. I love some of those event changes:

  • Higher intensity and density of enemies during some events
  • Replacement of the balconies with towers (the bridge event) which makes it slightly harder to camp enemy spawns without any risks
  • I genuinely felt for few moments that our team of misfits is going to get overwhelmed by enemies. It felt like a Tide game should, we actually were pushed back and surrounded by enemies few times. Unheard of. We nearly wiped during the bridge event due to unfortunate case of silent mutants and some fire.
  • This is a step in the right direction. Keep that coming!

I really hope that was not a fluke or the placebo effect.

Aside from the newly added floor spawns that feel really off in some locations, i fully agree.

I have no problem with those, unless you mean the “waterfall effect”, when you can basically end up stuck because enemies basically “spawn” inside your hitbox, and prevent your movement.
