I’m fine with having to restart the level grind and gear grind from 0 on a new character, where you start with bottom-of-the-barrel weapons and stuff (unlike vermintide) but we shouldn’t have to re-grind stuff like weeklies, ordo dockets, and crafting materials all over again. that’s not fun and isn’t respectful of our time as players.
imo they should just be pooled to the account “a la Vermintide”. The current system goes against the flow of “Account Progression” and makes no sense considering the last 2 Tide games. It’s a HUGE step backwards.
Agreed, resources between characters should be considered. (Atleast some.)
For me too it is turn-off. I won’t invest my time to farm things again and again and again.
The missions from Melk should also be common, But have more missions, between 10 to 15, but have X groups of 5 missions which each have their completion reward.
But under no circumstance should weapon be shared in my opinion.
Yeah, weapon sharing (when you look at their idea of finding stuff, not crafting stuff) can be discussed. But resources and missions? For me it is a must.
A “Bank” is an excellent idea! There’s plenty of room on the Mourningstar. It would give players what they want, a way to share currencies across the account, and it would add to the game by giving the Mourningstar some more characters to interact with.
Warband’s armoury? Armoury exchange center?
But, in my opinion, it would be easier just to share resources within an account. Less work to do, same (mechanic) effect.
I agree with you that it would be nice to make Mourningstar more usable, but I am more of a “working feature is better then looking feature” type of person.
