Interesting guess. There is some ingame dialogue suggesting Explicator Zola has something in her back of the mind.
Maybe she was the initial traitor, too, and we got hoodwinked?
Here’s a red herring for you - My personal guess:
New Orders: Explicator Zola dispatched at corrupted district sight.
(I think your take is more likely, though. This will be interesting)

She’s currently AWOL if we’re going off of Vox Intercept II, but that could also be a Red Herring.

The plot thickens
So i was just doing a mission and my psyker suddenly says something like:
“Zola is hiding a secret you know”
“But i am not sure she KNOWS she is hiding a secret”
Its not the exact words he used, as i was in the thick of fighting when he started his dialog and was somewhat distracted, but it covers the gist of what he said.
So make of that what you will.

My female Savant mentioned that she dreamt of two Zolas and was hilariously interrupted by a Veteran, who sarcastically remarked that Zola would be very pleased by such a sleazy fantasy.
My Psyker, after deflecting the sarcastic remark, then said the same things that yours said… give or take. Apparently, those two “Zolas” are fighting to the death internally within Zola, but my Psyker doesn’t quite understand what they’re fighting over.
