So here’s my idea.
Left of the Expeditions platform is Swagger’s Store. a place where you can get many things from playing the two game modes.
For Havoc, now upon completing a Havoc mission, you are rewarded with a new currency depending on how well you did (how many enemies you killed, how many times you died and so on). This Currency will be spent at Swagger’s Store for the following items.
Powerful Weapons (like in Contracts)
Weapon Skins (only available to Swagger’s Store)
3 Armor Sets (3 sets of recolored Aquila Store Armor sets for the main 4 classes. Only available to Swagger’s Store, Does not rotate, only 1 armor set for the dlc classes)
4 universal backpacks
2 new signatures for each class (Dlc only get 1)
5 Frames and 5 Banners.
You will have a Daily or Weekly Limit. So things get a little spicy and makes you want to play more!
For Expeditionss it uses Salvage as the currency (we can rework the progression in Expeditions) this Store will feature the following.
Powerful Weapons (Like Contracts)
Weapon Skins (only available to Swagger’s Store)
1 Armor Set Per Class (only available in Swagger’s Store)
2 Universal backpacks
1 Universal Signature (like holding a scanner) And 1 unique Signature
3 Frames and 3 Banners
Again, it would have a Daily or Weekly Limit
let me know what you guys think below. Would you play the game modes more often if you were able to obtain these rewards?
i think the thought behind this isn’t bad, but implemented this way you’d have yet another patch that completely leaves the main game mode (mission board) in the dust for no real reason
i think i would be happy with a concept like this if it explicitly focused on the mission mode, with OPTIONS to fulfill it via havoc, expeditions or mortis
this,
who needs resources by the time he plays hav40 anyways?
cosmetics/portraits/titles… none of em are uncheesable either so no weight to it when getting judged in the party finder either, so no rewards whatsoever besides the feel of accomplishing what the majority cant
