Can we Buff Havoc mission completion rewards?

Hello! New player here, and I’m here for the most challenging content there is. After getting a grasp on the game mechanics, enemies, and most importantly - getting a loadout properly leveled I felt I was ready to take on the challenge mode; Havoc.

Since playing exclusively Havoc though, I’ve noticed my gear progression screeching to a halt, but why? I was winning missions, I’ve even climbed all the way to Havoc 24, and I only started a few weeks ago! Well, Havoc doesn’t give any Cylinders or Boxes on completion, and it gives less money then standard missions….what?

Please don’t make me play less challenging content to progress alternate gear! Let me play the hardest there is and be rewarded more then once a week for playing it exclusively!

This is a bad idea.

You oughta see Havoc as a postgame mode rather than the intended endgame. With extra rewards, players are gonna flock to it way more, especially bad players who have no business being there, and it’s just gonna make the gamemode worse.

The natural difficulty and lack of reward is supposed to make it so that only people looking for the hardest of challenges will play it, and anyone merely reward driven is uninterested.

Congratulations. You are now ready to play Heresy.

I kindly disagree, Auric is too easy so I’d prefer the challenge of havoc. I don’t see why it couldn’t at least get at least a small amount of boxes/cylinders for a win, would be better then literally nothing.

And that’s why I’m playing it, for the challenge. I don’t see why it can’t give even a small amount of boxes/cylinders for a win so my time spent is actually progressing a tiny bit, which is better then literally not at all.

Unless something got changed, havoc pays out at the end of every week. You collect a crate that drops Sunday evening/Monday morning with an amount of crafting materials scaled to the highest havoc level you’ve completed that week. I maxed out every single weapon in the game just using the loot from havoc 40 chests, and that was months ago. The amount you get from them is kind of nuts. Ignore any weird gate-keeping, it really is the most fun/balanced difficulty, and it desperately needs more people.
