I don’t think at this rate I will ever get an upgrade to my current weapons and money is just going to endlessly amass to even more uselessness. Would be nice if we had a use for this money post 30.
I guess you didn’t hear? There will be no crafting. Only modifying.
I like to call it BLESSING MY HOLY INSTRUMENTS WITH SACRED UNGUENTS AT THE SHRINE OF THE OMNISSIAH, but whatever floats your Grox.
But yeah, I’m also done feature testing this Beta. Hope we’ll get the full game soon.
That’s assuming those will even cost dockets, seriously doubt Hadron gives to servitors about money.
Technically you should be stockpiling blues for blessings you want to rip off them for later storage and combining.
But the crafting system as a whole is poorly thought out in that you need to rely on a shop that refreshes once an hour for literally everything. Like, really? Absolutely no initiative for the player, just camp shop.
The game really dies at level 30 because everything that you would normally be doing isn’t in the game. It’s amusing for people to say that “too many hours have been played” as if people who play less will be more satisfied with an RNG system that can keep your key weapons out of your hands.
You can still buy good roll blues, consecrate them and cross your fingers for the time being.
It’s a very unrewarding experience. (I have done this several times, with a single weapon type to no real luck)
It’s absolutely stupid to buy any blues under 400 at 30 and the store keeps churning out garbage that don’t suit my class build. Consistently max 387-391 blues I don’t even want. I will be at a million dockets before I luck out loggin in at the time the store has anything I want.
The armory store is trash. The rotation is trash. Lv 30 has no meta.
I absolutely agree. Once players hit level 30 it becomes very apparent that in-game currencies are worthless. Not even the Penance currency is worth a damn given the crap RNG items in found in that shop.
In fact, the only currency worth anything is the in-game shop currency and that is simply due to being able to buy cosmetics that actually look good.
Now with that being said I believe the best remedy to improve the value of in-game currencies, not the cash shop one, is to allow players to trade their currencies for crafting materials, crafting re-rolls and base item level upgrades. Otherwise crafting mats and the cash shop currency are the only things that matter in this game.
P.S. Fatshark should also seriously upgrade the cosmetics that can be bought without premium currency.
I stopped bothering…
Now I have a ton of plasteel and diamantine on top of my 1500000 ordo dockets.
Haha
You cannot scrap items. Biggest let down…
Maybe this is backhanded critique but in case you missed the design point here:
The goal of the current set up is:
- Buy a weapon of varying Quality with really good base stat rolls (an all 80% weapon for example)
- Go to the crafting bench and upgrade it to Master crafted.
- Hope to get good perks and blessings
- Reroll one perk to fit your play style
- If everything turns out bad just repeat from step 1 until you get your favorite weapon.
Sometime you will be able to re roll blessings as well but until now this is all we got.
I don’t say this is a perfect system but this is the explanation what to do with your Money. Buy gear in the shop with good base rolls and upgrade it. Heck you can even take a look at the grey gear for that.
Sure, so now the shop only needs to be selling at least somewhat decent stuff and not 99% useless crap that is not worth the (grinded) crafting materials spending upon it.
We all know what the “design” behind all that is. Doesn’t make it less worse
