Honestly it would be cool to see fatshark introduce a mode like that where its lets say around 8 to 15 people and its a raid of some kind. I would love to see something like that because btmp was one of my favorite mods too

It happens. Everybody has different experiences in this game. Mine has been people are selfish that I play with, unfortunately.
I don’t personally use mods in Darktide, but I don’t mind people using them and seeing the list of mods you guys have shown, I wouldn’t mind if some of those QoL mods were to be added as a default to the game or at least as an option to turn them on or off in the settings.

Mods have a lot of promise, but they generally feel incomplete and somewhat broken so I don’t use them. Weapon customization applying across the board and customizing most picked up guns into a ghetto makeshift garage SMG, or the exceedingly bad UI of the More Drip mod. Very good mods with large failings.
One such mod that I really would love to see Fatshark implement…
“Ration Pack” shows how many charges are left in ammo crates and the healing radius around medi-packs.
I’ve seen too many players take two charges from an ammo crate, likely not even knowing it has limited charges. Something that is way easier to avoid if you’re using these sort of QoL mods.
(Could just be selfish teammates too to be fair.)
Also helps to avoid wasting a medi-pack by just standing within the heal radius while someone on your squad has that vet perk that heals corruption with medi-packs.

I can understand that perspective, but these are after all made for free by people that aren’t necessarily professional programmers. (Though I’m sure many of them are, or are aspiring to be.)
Most mods actually use the native game menus though and actually work pretty seamlessly. I can only think of a few that have a more rudimentary UI. (HUDTweaker, Custom UI, For the Drip)
As far as Extended Weapon Customization, I know what you mean. I think the creator maybe got a little over ambitious with trying to implement a gunsmith like system and it can be a bit confusing.
All this to say, I think you’re missing out on some great mods. If you can get over a bit of the janky menus, the game is so much better with some of them!

Maybe so, I try not to assume the worst of people though.
If nothing else, for my own well being.
'Cause doing your very best to be helpful to your team and then having someone snag that last ammo charge you desperately needed when they’re at 80% ammo is a real bummer.

Yea I see people who double dip because they thought everyone was long gone and had forgotten/skipped a box or because they accidentally clicked or because, in the madness of a fight, they forgot (or didn’t realize) they already reloaded off of it.

With how much varius specific/exact numbers factor into the workings of this game, the fact that something akin to numeric UI is not in the game as shipped is kind of outrageous.

Vermintide 2 did not have numbers on player health bars or team ammo counters until 4 years after release

Probably the same reason every other asinine quirk or bad design is in their games; someone with dubious judgement makes a lot of decisions they probably shouldn’t.
