Look at this. 95% of the time I look at the missions here it’s only ever Hounds, Poxgas, High Intensity/Shocktroop.
I’ve sat here waiting for something else to pop up. Anything, for 30 minutes none of the other modifiers has shown up.
It’s like this all the time now. I have to get lucky to see one of the other modifiers. What happened? Did the game have too much variety?
Powersuply-Interruption and Vent-purge feel like special events at this point.
Please for the love of Nurgle make it so there’s some variety here again.
I don’t need to choose from 7 different Shocktroop gauntlets. I’d rather have 7 different modifiers to choose from and i find it hard to believe I’m the only one that feels that way.
At this point there are more added-then-removed-again event modifiers than there are permanent modifiers. It’s a sad thing to see a developer cuck their own game this hard for nebulous live service reasons.
You can go play VT2 and benefit from years of built up content, all available in a wide array of content. Darktide does not amass content due to the format, other than a couple side game modes.
Anyway, just bad luck. Other modifiers are definitely popping up. See here: Darktide Mission filter by Auric and you’ll see Tox Gas, Vent Purge, Power Supply Interruption, Dogs, etc.
Yeah this is another of the many systems that I think will be unsatisfying until they give it no less than an entire rework. I want to see it more like payday 2’s crime net and contract broker. This would mean letting me pick the modifiers, difficulty, and map. Then let me post it to that mission board for people to inspect and drop in. Ideally, this would also come with the ability to swap characters at will in lobby, if I really want to optimize my team comp.
That was from the ‘I don’t even want to play not hi shock gauntlet’ feedback. I just want the horde modifier back. And nerfed soulblaze so you could engage with that content (and the rest of the game for that matter).
