Issue Description (Required):
After recently updating Darktide and changing my GPU from an RTX 3060 to an RTX 5060, I noticed much more frequent and sudden frame drops in gameplay and i still cannot pin point the exact cause behind this. Looking at steam monitor (pic attached) and i noticed my GPU would spike the VRAM amount from 5GB to more than 10GB, causing my game to tank in FPS. Can anyone with a 8GB VRAM still playing this game offer me some advice or settings to help mitigate this or better optimize because i really don’t want to leave this comfort game of mine. Thank you in advance.
My current game settings:
DLSS: Performance (but the vram spike will happen with any options i think)
Everything else on Low or Off
Portrait Rendering Off
Decal slides all to the left
Attempted Solutions (Optional):
Here are the list of things that i have tried (but i will try again):
Clearing Darktide Cache manually
Updated Drivers to the newest
Install MemLeakFix with the steam command for the game when launch
Have ISCL running
I only run Darktide and there are no other demanding background apps taking up much VRAM
Reinstalled the game
Updated Direct Storage DLL
Changed the win_32 settings and user settings as per Vizra's optimization guide instructions
I use only 4 mods (MemLeakFix, NumericUI, Healthbars,Autofire)
