Issue Description (Required):

I see other people are mad about this and signaling about it.
I have had this issue since last April.. I still love the game, but I CAN’T PLAY IT. Still payed for the DLC, so maybe you guys can look into this ???

Tried everything for the past 9 months - updates, mods, no mods, settings.. EVERYTHING

What’s your GPU memory usage looking like? When you are having issues, check to see how close you are to 4 GB, you may be hitting it and having to swap.

other games don’t have that issue even if I am close to the 4gb.
I start the game with 4.4/3.9 gb usage - still 60 fps

You’ll need to reduce your graphics settings more so you’ll fit within the 4 GB memory of your 3050.

It is not my GPU or the settings.. I have done and tried all of this for months.
The devs should look at this and figure it out…

I Gave the log file to ChatGPT :smiley: .. this thing told me which exactly what the issue is..
Will reinstall the game, retest and come back to say

The settings you’re using are consuming ~4.4 GB of video memory, your card has 4.0 GB of memory.

LOL, best of luck with that.

That’s when it starts using system RAM and slows down after your GPU VRAM 4GB limit.

Texture Quality and Resolution has biggest effect on VRAM usage.

As a test to show you. Even 1080p and Texture Quality Low. Then it will still hit 4GB VRAM. All I did was load into training ground and back again.

Switch to 720p and Texture Quality Low. VRAM usage drops slightly 3.7GB

Put all your graphics to lowest. Leave FOV as it is.

Go 720p for resolution

DLSS - Doesn’t matter here. Upscaling options at low resolution it will look the same from Performance to DLAA. So might as well put on Performance.

Play a mission, then check your VRAM usage.

Now if VRAM limited still, normally a person would suggest going lower resolution. But there is a mod that allows Texture Quality “Very Low”.

So then could try 720p and Texture Quality Very Low. VRAM usage goes up slightly from initial load, but tends to “settle” a bit higher.
