But please, make this not a 1 time per account but infinit with reduce reward.
First time you get 80 plastile, it’s ok if after that it gives 40 like idoles but you can take them even if everybody in the squad already have it.
Actually, you need someone in the party that doesn’t get it to get the nice and sweet +80… it’s nice, but i already encounter players that doesn’t care about the skull because they already have it and don’t care if others have it or not.
Give a reward even after the first time can avoid this and make everyone happy.
the plasteel reward for collecting skulls is repeating. the penance itself is for the first time for collecting the skull. the players that do not care about the skull consider the reward too low to slow down to complete the puzzle.
no, you didn’t get the plasteel if everybody in the squad already has the skull. that’s the problem, try it, do the map twice with full squad. first time everyone gonna get +80, second time, you can take the skull but no reward at all !

I love a little extra prize, and the heretical idols work for that I think. And those are “permanent” pickups, right?
But I’m afraid that if the skulls were also permanent pickups, they’d effectively become mandatory for some people. And that’d make them just like grims/tomes in VT2: a point of disagreement and frustration in PUGs.
totally agree, but i hate the skull system.
It’s made so people will do them less and less with times goes on then it’s never gonna be done.
New player will have difficulty to do these in few months. It’s already difficult with player that tends to speedrun even if they can get the reward.
so, if they give reward, player gonna do those like grims in vt2 but without reward, it’s gonna be a pain to do the skull in a year.
Maybe this should have been a event and not a permanent thing.
Adding this kind a thing on some maps as event would make player farm specifique maps and try to get it, then rotate the maps and do it as event instead of a permanent one time achievement that need coop to be done.
And I understand your point, but in a year it’ll just be on the new skull-hunting player to tell the team that they haven’t gotten the skull. Then the team will know they will also get a reward, so they will hopefully want to help grab it.
i hope so, i just get runes flashback of back to ubersreik on vt2… what a nightmare.

And if fatshark see this message, please do something about quickplay, i played like 4 different map on 2 days… it feels bad.
But my zealot really need the quickplay bonus to get those benediction lvl 4.
I also don’t know what I’m doing with them most the time. The puzzles are not the easiest to digest when the rest of the squad will explode with rage if I so much as catch a breath for a second (they really need those auric storm tags)
They need to make the vigil station puzzle easier. The jumping mechanics in this game are very loose and having to beat multiple instant-death jumps in a row is unfair.
Also the ascension riser one is broken, but they know that already.
I had the exact opposite experience. Even with a running start I would always fail to land on top of the next platform, I would just hit the edge and slide right off. I haven’t tried as a human though.
