Marksman's focus actual damage numbers

I’ve been doing some tests and came up with useful info to chose weapon for Marksman’s focus.

For reference: Precision strikes grant’s roughly 11%-16% weakspot damage increase, depending on the gun

This is roughly how much weakspot and crit damage increase you will gain on 10 or 15 stacks

Shredder Autopistol,
Braced Autogun,
Plasma:
10 - 17%
15 - 26%

Recon Lasgun:
10 - 22%
15 - 34%

Infantry Lasgun,
Helbor Lasgun,
Bolter:
10 - 28%
15 - 42%

Revolver:
10 - 35%
15 - 53%

Shotgun:
10 - 37%
15 - 56%

Infantry Autogun:
10 - 41%
15 - 61%

Las Pistol:
10 - 41%
15 - 62%

Headhunter Autogun(blue one is 5% less, for some reason):
10 - 43%
15 - 64%

Critical weakspot damage increased more.
I only tasted Infantry Autogun:
10 - 50%
15 - 75%

To lazy for the rest, sorry.

what was your testing method

Shoot the thing unbuffed, then shoot it buffed. Compare the numbers.

I actually have bigger, more detaild spreadsheet, but i decided that this’ll be enough

yeah well i asked to avoid, pure calculations made under wrong assumptions, so thats good…

but still my biggest problem with tests in this game is that there are no baseline weapons wich makes it a total mess…

Yes, the math itself seams to be a mess too. I tested diffirent versions of the same guns and results was consistent, but i wouldn’t be surprised if i missed something.

By the way. Is Brittleness and rending suppose to affect non carapace and flak? Because they do.

not sure, haven’t looked into armor mechanic too much, but if V2 is anything to go by, my assumtion is that the enemy tags like unyielding even unarmored are their “armor type”
so “unarmored” are not without resistances

in V2 packrats weren’t armored but had high resistances because they had the same “armor type” as monsters

so maybe both rending and bittle don’t reduce armor, but damage resistance of their “armor type”

that sounds right

Yes, it is supposed to affects all armor types. If you do <100% base damage, every 1% will add 1% to the armor modifier until you hit 100%. After that, every 4% will add 1%
