March 8-11 Free Weekend not free?

I did a search, so please forgive me if this is elsewhere.

I got an email via the newsletter that V2 would be free this weekend so excitedly told my friends who had been on the fence. Unfortunately, Steam is showing V2 as 60% off ($12 USD), which isnt’ really a deal breaker for them, but I think they’re hesitant to buy now. So did we miss something? It’s March 10, so still within the “free weekend”.

Unfortunately it does appear the Free Weekend has ended. I can only suspect it ended early for you (on the 10th) due to some sort of timezone witchery. Sorry about this.

Thank you for the reply. That’s a good suspicion and is most likely the reason. That’ll teach them to hesitate!
