The maps are beautiful absolutely stunning. The artwork and every single tiny detail, love it.
What I do not like at all iss the arenas on every level,. For the love of god give us some variety, defend a tunnel, or a bridge whatever but not an arena they awful. Use maps to make some choke points which we can defend, Wh2 had this on most maps and it was wonderful.
The arena’s feel lifeless, and have little to no defensive positions, which every arena should have in one form or other to provide a way for the player to survive. Now most arena’s force us to adopt cheesy tactics, rather make them have some different positions with different drawbacks to make it interesting.
For example: position X has plenty of cover but enemies can come from multiple direction. However position Y has only two ways for enemies to reach you but only little cover.
It would make the maps feel really great.
In addition I would like to have a frontline map where we attack different strong points in the trenches, tasked with blowing up stuff or killing a key captain. This could be the ”chaos wastes” of darktide. Please consider it.
Also remove FOMO and let me have my cover armor for the bigman, pretty please. I like to play fashion tide
Other than the carnival colosseum entrance hold what type of “cheesy tactics” are you talking about?
I have many issues with this game, but the maps are mostly fine to me (other than the colosseum which needs to close its entrance off). The arenas are fine, and have plenty of cover as far as I’ve experienced.
The ones where things can get out control the most usually have a near choke within relatively short kiting distance.
there’s only like one map where there’s large open “arenas” and most of the other maps are getting caught in hallways. the hell are you actually talking about…

Arenas are in every map, for example: disruption misson, you have an arena where the powet cells are and a second one in the end. Perhaps think a bit before posting… Arena’s are in every single map of the game but they provide little to the gameplay loop.
I am just saying that there should be variety to the locations where we have a comlink or what ever to defend. They are really boring.
For example in the espionage mission you have an arena where you bounce around finding virus nodes with the pokedex or whatever its called. Just try to think for a second before you post srsly, you cannot even get the basic lore stuff right and come to complain in every thread…
And lead lead to an arena… in between. I am saying some variety would be appreciated regarding these. I like much of the map design except the arenas, which are part of every single mission.
