this kinda seems self explanatory, tracking your saves based on a 3rd party account, say your fatshark account makes much more sense as players can seamlessly use there saves on different platforms this really is just common sense honestly simply copy the saves to the new account from the steam profile as the player logs in (or vice versa), really this seems optimal as players on game pass for instance may wish to actually purchase the game, but prefer steam as a platform.

This would cost money.
Look at their servers. If there’s a corner it’s getting hit by a revved chainsword.
