The issue being that after the events were added into the game I’ve been having bad framerate issues and latency along with it.
I didn’t have this issue the day before and the game was running smoothly till I booted it up today.
I’ve already deleted my shader cache to let it rebuild itself, I’ve meddled with my settings to see if there anything wrong there but still nothing and I recently had an issue where my drivers werent working properly so I updated them and there’s no way thats the issue.
The only thing I haven’t tried at this point is reinstalling the game but I have slow internet and I really don’t wanna wait so long to redownload unless I have to.
Another note: Yes I have verified the game files and nothing was detected
Hm, it’s a bit of a shot in the dark, but please could you try wiping your AppData for Darktide?:
NOTE: If Steam Cloud saving is enabled for Darktide, this may automatically restore the AppData and consequently cause the error to resurface. You can disable Steam Cloud Saving for Darktide via the Steam client by:
Navigate to your Steam library
Right-click Darktide
Select ‘Properties’
On the ‘General’ tab, scroll down to ‘Steam Cloud’
Disable ‘Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’
NOTE: This will reset any custom keybindings.
Press the Windows key + R
Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory
You will then need to use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option, which is accessible via the Steam client and will ensure the installation is complete.
Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
Select ‘Properties’
Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
