Looks like I got blacklisted today by some people I played with. Basically, we ended up in this sandy area where in one mission (at least one) you have to run down and exit through huge gates, and in another mission (at least one) you have to run up and take an elevator. So, I ran down and dragged another player with me. But we were supposed to go up. The two players who were pushing upwards fell and died. The mission ended successfully though; the two of us managed to get up, respawn the fallen players, and everyone evacuated successfully. But the player who was most annoyed with me unloaded an entire magazine into me twice. Man, this is probably a first for me. I was so sure we had to run down, but I was wrong

wouldn’t sweat it, stuff happens as they say. some folks get a bit over engaged. but tomorrow everyone involved will wake up and get on with their lives so cut yourself some slack and dont put his over reaction on you.

It was a better period, thougy, because if you were mad at someone, you could physically walk over to them and tell them to their face what you felt about them.
I’ve never gotten this angry, but it came close a number of times when I was perma-telefragged by a friend in Blood MP and also one time when another friend was annoying as hell with Burnov (the fat character) in Double Dragon '95 (Neo Geo emulator)

little 15 year old me on an adults party beating dudes up in virtua fighter 2 next to their girlfriends and mouthing off/trash talking.
dudes were at least 2 heads bigger than me and 30-50kg heavier….
what could go wrong, bow to my skill you maggots

hail to ütube, we didn’t have that when we kicked them hardgamers around.
so iirc the scene was one of them yapping about their decimation by index “get him, get him” and the other said “doesn’t work, he’s too fast”. and attempted to ragequit, which he mistyped (Z is on german keyboards where Y is in the US)

you defending the flag and I plasma-roasting “messerjockel” in the throneroom where 4 spawn points were between the pillars and the poor dude came out once of each only to get instakilled
map had 2 dirtroads leading to an x shaped crossing mirroring the map and two bases.
me taking the elevator to the upper castle wall and oneshotting a hartzocker with the flak cannon on my way down, sniper gunned another and headed back to our base with the flag on my back.
even with translocator they couldn’t keep up with my strafejumping shows what a bunch of “pros” they turned out despite their best propaganda each time
by the time I delivered the flag and they were slowly catching up I charged my rocket launcher on my way out and killed em 
“uitz” was that russian dude on q3dm6 where side stairs led down to the super shotgun.
he was looking at the plasma gun turning on its spawn spot when writing this
“nova” and the hartzockers were in that match as well
basically a 2 vs everyone and us 2 ripped them a new butthole each
