LOD Mesh bug still here from closed beta times

Issue Description:
The long range ultra-low quality meshes load at all times, even when 5 inches away from the item. Happens on map objects, weapons, etc. Makes aiming down sights extremely difficult. The gaping hole in the middle of the drop pod floor is still there from when I played the closed beta.

I used to be able to temporarily fix this by changing LOD to 5 in the config file but that no longer works and changing the LOD slider in the options menu doesn’t do anything. 0.5-5 or anything in between nothing changes.

Have a AMD GPU, apparently.

May I drop this here.
Same issue, can fix it temporarily with the same LOD slider, but after a while the mesh becomes lower detail jagged model.

This one specifically affects Mk III Vraks Headhunter Autogun.
