Loadouts suck

Loadouts (in game apparently called “Wargear Sets”, I’m talking about the feature that lets you save loadouts) suck because:

  1. You only get very few slots. There’s a mod to get more of them, and I don’t even remember how many you get by default, but even with the mod there aren’t enough slots and it sucks.
  2. Sorting loadouts isn’t possible. If you mess up the order it’s messed up.
  3. Loadouts don’t allow for naming. There’s a mod for this, but the names don’t show unless you click it, which sucks too.

That is all. Please put some dev time into the feature. Uncap them, and allow naming and sorting. I’m not sure what else could be done to improve them but this would make the feature far more usable. Maybe replace the symbols with a dropdown where you can see the loadout name and select based on that. I’m aware that’s not a very modern console-UI solution, but the current system is just suffering, please improve it.

The symbols are terrible for sure. You want them to in some way represent the style you’re going with.

The weird hieroglyphics … unmemorable.

I’d be ok with more slots and more symbols. Not every player has a keyboard so I can accept naming being a mod.

If you edit the mod, you can get up to 20. It takes the entire space at the top (21 would display it above equipment slots)

You just need to put your mouse on the icon and it shows a tooltip.

Everything I said doesn’t change the fact that these mods should be in the game. We need more loadouts and we need to have the possibility to name them.

More symbols are needed, even if I don’t use them cause… too few and as @Jonboy Jonboy said, they are not a representation of a gameplay.
