Lets talk about enemy Heroes

So in Remnant, both FTA and its sequel 2, bosses have randomly assigned buffs that make them more unique and each encounter different. right now their equipment isn’t enough to make them interesting. for example.

  • Unstoppable - cannot be knocked down and resistant to slows
  • Crushing Blows - increased damage vs player toughness
  • Insurrectionist - more minions, specifically horde enemies(poxxers, groaners)
  • Champion - More non-pinning specialists(Flamers, Bombers, Snipers, etc.)
  • Cursed - When damaged enough will turn into a spawn(somewhere between 60%-20% health, hidden from players)

Gatekeeper Naglfahr from Vermintide 2 does this. However, the Damage threshold required to start his Transformation is fixed and not random.

i know that’s why i suggested it. but it should be random to avoid players specifically panning for it as i found Gatekeeper to be very underwhelming as a named boss character.
