Latest Update: Easy Anti Cheat Problems

All mods turned off. Whole game reinstalled. Access granted, firewall privileges enabled. Reinstalled program entirely even! (Btw your support forum link for easy anti cheat is broken.) Still the problem persists, to the point I can no longer play - ‘Easy Anti Cheat Not Installed.’ Ive combed the forums, repaired the link Julia advised others ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\installers\EasyAntiCheat) And it still continues. At something of a loss.

My friend has this issue just yesterday. She was able to fix it by reinstalling EAC.

I have the same issue, it began last night and I have had the game for weeks now. For some reason it is saying “Easy Anti Cheat is not installed” and force closes on me before the game is even launched. I have never downloaded mods and have only played the game in its vanilla state.

Thanks for the heads up on the outdated link, we’ll sort that out. The correct way to install Easy Anti-Cheat is via the executable located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\installers\EasyAntiCheat directory, for anybody wondering.

Since this was unsuccessful for you, could you please send us your Easy Anti-Cheat loader log and I’ll pop a message over to them to ask what’s up:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select 'OK'
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\EasyAntiCheat\226

Please send the ‘loader’ log over to me via PM.
