Easy Anti-Cheat problem

Hi! My game has been crashing since yesterday. It’s always the same. After starting the game and starting the mission, the game crashes after about ten minutes. No error window appears, just a small bubble in the bottom right that says: Game Security Violation Detected (#0000001). I tried to fix Anti-Cheat with EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe but it did not help. It’s sad because I can’t do daily quests and I’m losing shillings. I haven’t installed anything new in the last few days and when I play games I turn off all other programs because I have an old computer. I am sending a screen with all the processes that normally run in the background on my computer. Please help me.

Hmmmm, I can’t see anything that would interfere. You could try this:

  • Remove the ‘Certificates’ directory located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\EasyAntiCheat

  • Proceed to repair Easy Anti-Cheat using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\installers\EasyAntiCheat

Then I recommend using the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option. Fingers crossed!

I have the same problem, I have 300 hours of this game in Steam, about 5 days ago this problem started, “Game Security Violation Detected (0000001D)” I can’t play anymore.

Having the same problem, I’ve tried reinstalling the game

I can get into a menu and start the game and around 5 minutes in it crashes saying “Game Security Violation Detected (0000001D)”

Never seen this before in my many many hours playing this, I’ve tried everything I can think of to get this to work!

Please help

Hi Julia! Thank you for your advice. I tried it, but unfortunately the result is still the same. But I have a guess as to what it could be. If I’m right V2 didn’t have an update last week, so it won’t be a game. But Steam updates every day and since there are more people here with the same problem at the same time, I’m guessing Steam is to blame…
Is there any way to tell from the Anti-Cheat what it has evaluated as a possible cheat?

I do have the same Problem. It is starting to get frustrating.

I tried the Crash-Advises on your Page. Reinstalled the Game and the GPU drivers.

I did a Memory Check.

Nothing seems to work :confused:

We’ve since rolled back to an older version of Easy Anti-Cheat, could you let me know if this is still an issue for any of you please?

Wow 61,5GB update! :smiley: But it works now! Thank you I can play again! :slight_smile: And the fact that the game now takes up less disk space is also great! .-)

But I would like to point out that the revived bots still have outlines even if all outlines are set to disabled in the menu. I hope to see an update that fixes this. Kruber breaks my immersion almost every mission.
