Launch Error "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed."

After initial game installation played for about 4 hrs. Next time I attempted to load game I got the Launch Error “Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed.” What is Anti-Cheat, I never installed it, so how did the game play the first time. If Anti-Cheat installed with the game, I never messed with it so why did it stop working.

Easy Anti-Cheat is installed with Vermintide 2, but it can occasionally become corrupted - the same way any other program can - and consequently needs repairing.

Please try repairing it using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\installers\EasyAntiCheat
